This is always one of the hardest sections to put into words; especially for designer's. We tend to tell our story with graphics and art. But I will try. . .

My design background started years ago in third grade when one of my favorite teachers of ALL time introduced me to 'art-outside-the-box.' Since then, I've been experimenting with many different art forms. But graphic and web design are my passion.

Graphic Design/Web Design did not present itself until after I had done a 4-H project on my Genealogy and made what I researched into a scrapbook. At that point I wondered if I could actually get paid for designing things. After some research at the library, I found that you could! That's when I pursued a degree in Graphic Arts.

Not long after that, I enrolled in the Ohio Institute of Photography and Technology. After two years of intense training, I received an Associates Degree of Applied Arts in Graphic Design.

I've been in the field about 6 years now and truly feel that I don't have a job, I have an enjoyable hobby that I get to go to everyday and get paid for it!

This winter I plan to return to school to obtain my Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communications from the University of Dayton where I also plan to get my Master's Degree in Art later. It should be a great experience and I look forward to furthering my education and learning new things that will help me in my career.
